Founded in 1996, with a group of youth clubs who came together with the aim of addressing HIV/AIDS issues that are affecting the youth in Karonga District.

Our Target Population

  • Youth (Adolescent Girls and Young Women aged 10–24)
  • Children and parents/caregivers
  • Community leaders and structures (VDCs, ADCs, mother groups)
  • Women and men in rural communities
  • Persons living with HIV and Marginalized groups

Mwirang’ombe Beach Village HIV and AIDS Interventions Project (MBHIP)

The project’s overall goal was to reduce the impact of HIV and AIDS among 1985 youth aged 15-24 and 1193 men living in fishing villages in T/A Mwirang’ombe in Karonga district  from October 2023 to September 2024.
